Reflections Yoga Center offers a comprehensive prenatal yoga program because we believe these 9 months are very special times in a woman's life and they deserve the special care and all the powerful tools that they can have for a natural birth and to maintain emotional and physical balance. Prenatal Yoga is a great way to take care of mom and baby in a healthy and safe way during pregnancy.
The prenatal yoga classes will assit the student in all stages of pregnancy. This is a non-strenuous, gentle class which will increase the flexibility of the muscles involved in childbirth, and introduce breathing and relaxation techniques to relieve pain (useful at delivery) instructed by a certified prenatal yoga teacher. It is a great way to stay in shape during pregnancy and connect with other moms-to-be. This is an all levels class.
The prenatal yoga classes are taught in a clean and beautiful facility that exudes serenity and calm. Some of the benefits of prenatal yoga are: strengthening of the uterus and pelvic muscles, openning of the hips, improving circulation, helping with digestion, preparing the body for birth, conditioning the spine, etc. The class will also help the students to alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, back pain, constipation, swelling, and sciatica.
Our prenatal yoga instructor will instruct and assist you in every step in an effective manner, with sensitivity towards the student. Our instructors are 200-hour certified yoga teacher plus certifitied prenatal yoga instructor. This will give the moms-to-be the assurance of being safe and protected by receiving yoga instructions from a yoga teacher specialized.
