Kids Yoga

Yoga for kids builds self-esteem, develops character and helps children become more aware of their bodies' abilities. This yoga kids class will focus on basic yoga poses, breathing and relaxation activities, cooperative games and having fun! This kids yoga class is for ages 5 to 10.

Through these experiences, children have lots of fun as they become more focused, more connected to themselves and to others, and more able to calm and relax themselves. The Little Yogis classes explore playful yoga poses, animated breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques which encourage a deeper sense of body awareness, self-exploration and interpersonal skills. Kids learn ways to calm and refocus themselves through breathing and physical pose.
